Original fabric toys for newborns Šapitó are made in a small local workshop in the West Lusatian Mountains in northern Bohemia (Czech Republic). They are soft and fluffy, perfect for cuddle, teething and sleeping, offering comfort and safety. A wonderful first friend for any baby.

The company Šapitó was founded by George and Marie Mrňávek in 2002. After producing the first original children's room decorations Marie as designer started to focus on small toys for newborns and so the first rattles Šapiťáci with the typical teething ring came to the world.

As it was a baby toy, it was necessary to have it check for safety. In 2005 the rattles gained a safety certification by Technical and Test Construction Institute in České Budějovice. The certification was refreshed in 2008.

In 2006 the Šapitó rattles were awarded with a prestigious national award Good Toy. And not only them - in 2008 the original textile books and in 2011 the wrap dolls were honored with the same award.
